We're signed up as a Partner for new eSports festival, Stack Fest, this September
Stack Fest is a pioneering gaming and eSports event, co-founded by production agency, Holland Alexander, venue host, Here East, and Education Partner, Staffordshire University London. The festival is set to become a landmark event in the UK eSports calendar and will feature well-known brands and pro teams, along with the fan community, all coming together for an epic three-day-long gaming gathering.
On Day 1: Industry Ambition, Bitstocks CEO, Michael Hudson, will be giving a presentation about the connections between eSports, NFT’s and bitcoin, and how this technology will help advance both the payment and gaming experiences of the future. Unsurprisingly, this is something which Bitstocks have already been working into the framework of their bitcoin financial ecosystem, Gravity.
Stack Fest visitors can also join the Bitstocks team in the Studio to try out both ‘F1 2021’ and ‘Assetto Corsa Competizione’ on three Gravity-branded sim-racing rigs. Most excitingly, a Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) prize cup is on offer each day for the fastest lap time. There will even be the opportunity to ‘race the CEO’ for a couple of hours each afternoon. Hudson enthused about Bitstocks’ partnership with the eSports event:

Louise Holland, Project Director for Stack Fest at Holland Alexander, echoed this sentiment, saying of the partnership;

Not only are the Bitstocks Gravity team passionate about sim-racing, but also about enabling individuals within the field of eSports. As a younger industry, it is yet to implement a payment and banking solution that genuinely empowers content creators and drivers within the space. Bitstocks’ Gravity aims to open up financial opportunities for sim-racers and eSports professionals, who are in the majority a tech-savvy, Gen-Z and Millennial demographic with alternative income forms.
